Welcome to the Audit Department
The Audit Department is the primary resource for managing audit engagements. It serves San Diego State University by partnering with various campus constituents and helping the university respond to audits from state and federal agencies, as well as to conduct internal reviews. To ensure financial integrity, the Audit Department may also conduct inquiries and special investigations of suspected fiscal improprieties in compliance with CSU Executive Order 1104. Most importantly, the Audit Department collaborates with leadership to resolve audit observations, recommendations and to identify opportunities to improve and strengthen internal controls.
