Welcome to Audit & Continuous Improvement

The Audit & Continuous Improvement department serves as the center of excellence for audit, compliance, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. The department manages non-GAAP compliance and programmatic audit activities and serves as the university liaison for audit engagements with the State of California, the California State University, the U.S. Department of Education, and other governing bodies and funding agencies, ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with university policies and regulatory requirements.

In partnership with campus stakeholders, the department also leads initiatives that strengthen business operations through business process improvement, organizational change management, enterprise training, knowledge management, and process standardization, integrating audit findings, operational assessments, and best practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, compliance, customer service, and the successful adoption of university business systems and administrative initiatives.
